How to add your Professional Email account to Outlook on Android

Important: Professional Email needs to be added to your device as IMAP or POP. It is not compatible with Exchange.

If you have been migrated from Microsoft Email Essentials to Professional Email, you will need to migrate your calendars and contacts manually. Please check out Microsoft's guides on exporting and importing contacts and calendars.

You can add your Professional Email account to Outlook on an Android device.

Our recommended settings are:

• IMAP
  • server: mail.wcg-mail.com
  • port: 993 (SSL encryption)
• SMTP
  • server: mail.wcg-mail.com
  • port 587 - encryption TLS

Add your email to Outlook

1. Tap Outlook
2. Tap Setting (the Office 365 icon)
3. Tap the + icon
4. Tap Add an account
5. Enter your full email address
6. Tap CONTINUE
7. Tap IMAP or POP

We recommend IMAP as it will sync all your devices, using this email account, together - making sure you're up to date no matter the device you choose to access your email on.

1. Type in your Display Name (e.g. your name)
2. Type in a Description (e.g. Work)
3. Under IMAP Incoming Email Server, input the below settings

IMAP Host Name: mail.wcg-mail.com
Port: 993
Security type: SSL/TLS
IMAP Username: your full email address (e.g. [email protected])
IMAP Password: your email password

1. Under SMTP Outgoing Email Server, input the below settings

SMTP Host Name: mail.wcg-mail.com
Port: 587 or 465
Security type: SSL/TLS
IMAP Username: your full email address (e.g. [email protected])
IMAP Password: your email password

1. Tap accept (the tick)

You can now access your email account through Outlook on your Android device.
