How to change your PHP version in Cloud Hosting

Although our Cloud Hosting Litespeed server runs PHP 5.6 by default. It also supports PHP versions 5.2 through 5.5 and 7.0. Users may change the version currently running on their virtualhost from within the Console. Instructions on how to change the PHP version running on your Cloud Hosting virtualhost are below.

If you do not see the options below displayed within your account, your website may not be hosted on our Litespeed server.

  1. Login to the Console
  2. Click to manage your domain
  3. Click Advanced under Cloud Hosting and then 'Advanced' in the left menu
  4. Select the PHP version you wish to use from the PHP drop down menu
  5. Click [Submit]

Changes to the PHP version running on the virtualhost may take 2-5 minutes to be noticeable.

How to change your PHP version in cPanel Hosting

Our cPanel servers support PHP versions 5.2 through to 5.6 and 7.0.

  1. Login to the Console
  2. Click to manage your domain
  3. Click cPanel
  4. Scroll down to Software/Services and click [Select PHP Version]
  5. On the top left hand side, choose the version you want to change your PHP to
  6. Click [Save]
