Domain name transfers overview

The below article outlines the steps involved in transferring a domain to Webcentral. If your domain is already with Webcentral and you want to move it into another account, contact our customer care team for assistance. Transferring a domain to Webcentral

Depending on the type of domain you want to transfer, the steps may vary.

• Transfer a gTLD domain to Webcentral (com/net/org/info/biz)
• Transfer a .au domain to Webcentral (au/com.au/net.au/id.au/org.au)
• Transfer a .uk domain to Webcentral (co.uk/org.uk/me.uk)
• Transfer a .nz domain to Webcentral (co.nz/net.nz)
• Most other domain types use the same procedure as gTLD's

Bulk domain name transfers

Transfer all your domains at the same time.

1. Log in to your Webcentral account
2. In Overview, click Transfer domains
3. Under Transfer multiple domains, download the CSV template (excel doc) and type in your domains and their passwords
4. Upload the document and click Transfer
5. Follow the onscreen instructions

Domain name transfer duration

Once a domain transfer is initiated it may take several days to complete, depending on the type of domain you are transferring. Please see the table below for a rough guideline:
