Create a database

The majority of our website hosting plans include database support. If you are currently subscribed to a website hosting plan which includes database support, follow the instructions below to create your database.

Create a database on cPanel Hosting

To create a MySQL database on a cPanel Hosting plan please follow the instructions below.

1. Log into your Account
2. Manage the domain you want to make changes to
3. Click cPanel
4. Click on the MySQL Databases icon
5. Create a new database
6. Create a new user
7. Add the user to the database
8. Set the priviligies you wish the user to have to the database
9. Click [Make Changes]

Create a database on Cloud Hosting

To create a MySQL or MSSQL database on a Cloud Hosting plan please follow the instructions below.

1. Log into your Account
2. Manage the domain you want to make changes to
3. Click the Database icon
4. Type in a database name in the DbName field
5. Select the type of database you wish to create from the DbType drop down
6. Click [Create]
