DNS zone interface for VPS customers

VPS Hosting customers are able to create and manage zone files for their domains from within the Console. To create a zone file for a domain you have hosted on a VPS, follow the instructions below.

Create a zone file

  1. Log into the Console
  2. Click on the Service Administration tab
  3. Click VPS Hosting
  4. Click on the name of the VPS under the Server ID column
  5. Locate the heading titled DNS Interface (down the very bottom of the page)
  6. Fill in the Add a domain field with the domain name you want to create a zone record for
  7. Click [Add]
  8. If you delegate the domain towards our name servers, you will now be able to manage the domains zone file within the Console

Remove a zone file

  1. Log into The Console
  2. Click on the Service Administration tab
  3. Click VPS Hosting
  4. Click on the name of the VPS under the Server ID column
  5. Locate the heading titled DNS Interface (down the very bottom of the page)
  6. Locate the domain you want to remove the zone file for
  7. Click [Remove]

Name server delegation

Once you have configured the domains zone file, delegate the domain name to the following name servers:

  • ns1.netregistry.net
  • ns2.netregistry.net
  • ns3.netregistry.net
