What is Microsoft 365?

Microsoft 365 is Microsoft’s subscription plan for emails and apps.

What do you get in our Microsoft plans?

  • Microsoft Email Deluxe (Exchange Online P1)gives you 50GB of email storage. It can be accessed online via outlook.com and can also be added to your device's mail client (such as Outlook, Apple Mail, Mozilla Thunderbird, and more).   • Office 365 F3 also known as the "frontline worker plan" gives you 2GB email storage and access to the Microsoft 365 online applications Outlook, Word, Excel and Powerpoint as well as Teams and One Drive. Your email account can be accessed online via outlook.com and can also be added to your device's mail client (such as Outlook, Apple Mail, Mozilla Thunderbird, and more).
  • Microsoft Business Basic gives you 50GB of email storage and access to Teams, OneDrive, and SharePoint. Your email account can be accessed online via outlook.com and can also be added to your device's mail client (such as Outlook, Apple Mail, Mozilla Thunderbird, and more).
  • Microsoft 365 Business Standard and Business Premium both include 1 email license with 50GB of email storage and access to Teams, OneDrive, and SharePoint. As well as access to the Microsoft 365 online and dektop apps which can be accessed from your Microsoft 365 account or downloaded on up to 5 devices, click here to find out how
  • Apps for Business includes the Microsoft 365 online and desktop apps (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, and Access), which can be downloaded on up to 5 devices, and access to OneDrive. It does not include an email license
  • Microsoft Business Basic, Business Standard, Business Premium, and Apps for Business include 1TB of OneDrive storage.

Is Microsoft 365 compatible with Apple devices?

Yes, Microsoft 365 can be used with Outlook for Mac, OS X Mail, and iOS Mail.

What is the email send/receive size limit?

The default limit is 35MB when sending or receiving emails in Outlook. If you use Outlook Web App (OWA) you’ll need to account for a 20% overhead reducing the number to 28MB.

Can I mix and match POP email (Cloud, cPanel, etc.) and Microsoft 365 Business mailboxes?

Unfortunately, mixing and matching mailbox types is not possible.

Can I manage other Microsoft 365 users at my domain name?

You can assign Global Admin privileges to users in your Webcentral account. This means that from this email account, in the Microsoft Admin Centre, you can manage all emails under this domain. You can add and remove users, reset passwords, create groups, and much more. Only do this for users that you trust to make these changes.

Can I recover deleted email accounts?

Yes, you have 30 days to restore a deleted email account. If you wish to recover the content, contact us as soon as possible or click here to see how to do it yourself.

How long before I can use my new mailbox?

It can take up to 4 hours, after creating your email account, to be ready to use.

Can I forward emails with Microsoft 365?

Yes, email forwarding will let you forward email messages sent to a user's mailbox to another user's mailbox inside or outside of your organisation (such as to other Microsoft email accounts or external email accounts like Gmail). You can find more information on how to do this here.

How do I use Microsoft 365 Business Apps (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)?

Can I distribute my 5 devices to other email addresses?

Yes, these can be used on 5 different devices, though it is not recommended for sensitive accounts as the account holder’s emails can be accessed.

Can you mix and match Business Standard and Business Premium?

Yes, you can have several different types of Microsoft 365 Business accounts under the same domain. You can assign licenses to users in your Webcentral account or in the Microsoft Admin Center.
