Forwarding emails to Gmail

If you’re using our email forwarding service to forward emails to a Gmail address, emails sent from eBay and PayPal may not be redirected properly.

Gmail enforces a special DKIM signature for eBay (ebay.com) and PayPal (paypal.com) messages, in accordance with their requests. This means that if you’re automatically forwarding your emails from your email address with us to your email address with Google/Gmail, the forwarding service will break the DKIM signature and the message will be rejected by Google.
