Enable anti-spam

To enable anti-spam on an email account, determine which type of hosting you are using and follow the instructions below.

Enable anti-spam on Cloud Hosting

  1. Log into the Console/li>
  2. Manage your domain
  3. Click Email
  4. Under the Anti-Spam & Email Archiving heading, toggle box next to the words Anti-Spam & Email Archiving to on
  5. Click [Update]

This will enable anti-spam for all email accounts under the domain.

Note: when you enable anti-spam in Cloud email, your domain names MX records will be automatically updated to start using the anti-spam servers for managing email. If you manage your domain DNS externally, please ensure to adjust your DNS Zone at the current provider to list the correct MX records.

Enable anti-spam on cPanel hosting

  1. Log into your Account
  2. Manage your domain
  3. Click cPanel
  4. Click on the SpamAssassin icon
  5. Click [Enable SpamAssassin]

The MX records on cPanel do not change as part of enabling Anti-spam and no further changes are necessary.
