Accessing account information

The Account Level console

The Account Level Console is sometimes also referred to as the Master Account Console and it's the primary access point for managing your contact information, billing & invoicing, orders & purchases, and domain summary information.

Domain management

Domain management (DNS, zone records, email and webhosting, etc) is controlled via the Domain Level console. You can access this by clicking [Manage] next to the domain name you want to edit/manage. Each domain name also has its own username and password, allowing direct login to manage the domain. These details are often given out to web developers, so they can access the domain and web hosting but are restricted from editing billing and contact information.

The Account level password

A netregistry account is accessed with an Account Reference and Password. These are provided upon registration of a Netregistry account (usually on the registration of a domain or purchase of services).

Your account reference is usually three letters followed by a dash and then three numbers eg. ABC-123.

The Account Reference and Password or the One-Off Code is required as a mean of authentication should any Netregistry customer require any information related to the account, or to request any changes.

Note: You should never provide this information to anybody unless you have directly contacted a Netregistry customer support member.

If this information is not readily available, a customer can easily recover their account login details, provided their contact information on the account is currently up to date.

Account and domain management requires several types of passwords which allow access to specific features. For clarification on passwords, refer to this article.
