  • Emails that do not show your correct Webcentral login
  • Links that take you to a website other than Webcentral.au or Webcentral.com.au.
  • Notices to make a payment or renewal when these are not due yet. You can always log in to your account to check when your services are due and renew securely once logged in

We would like to inform our clients that there has been several reports of phishing attempts by "IDs Australia".

The emails or calls will encourage you to pay for a domain renewal or to safeguard your domain name. The communications look legitimate as it uses publicly available information, like domain name expiry and Registrant Contact Information. If your domain is registered through us, please ensure you log in to your Webcentral portal and check the expiry date and auto-renew status and keep your registrant contact information up to date.

You can check your registrant information, like ABN or ACN via a WHOIS lookup (whois.auda.org.au).
