# Overview of .INFO.BD Domain

.INFO.BD is a second-level domain under Bangladesh's .BD ccTLD, managed by the Bangladesh Telecommunications Company Limited (BTCL). It is intended for informational or general-purpose websites. BTCL requires document verification for all .BD registrations; this is a registry-level requirement.

## Eligibility

* The registrant must be a **Bangladeshi national**.
* The domain name must be **at least 3 characters** long (2-character names are not allowed).
* The name on the NID must match the name in your account profile.
* All submitted information must be consistent across all documents.
* The domain must be registered by the actual registrant only. No individual or third party may register a .BD domain on behalf of someone else.

## Required Documents

### 1. National ID (Mandatory)

* Valid Bangladeshi National ID (NID) of the registrant.

### 2. Mobile Number (Mandatory)

* An active, reachable Bangladeshi mobile number.

### 3. Request Letter (Mandatory)

A request letter that clearly states:

* The **purpose** of registering the domain
* The **exact domain name** being requested

## Additional Verification

BTCL may request additional documents or verification depending on the domain name and circumstances of the application.

## How to Submit Your Documents

Please submit the documents via a support ticket. Once received and verified, we will proceed with activation, subject to BTCL's approval.
