# Overview of .DE Domain

The .DE domain is the country code top-level domain (ccTLD) for Germany, managed by DENIC.

## Requirements

There are no special eligibility requirements for the registrant, but DENIC requires **valid nameservers** at the time of registration.

## Nameserver Requirements

Valid, working nameservers are required by DENIC before the domain can be registered. Please provide the nameservers you wish to use when placing your order.
