# Email Software Settings

Before you can configure your email software to send and receive emails from our servers, you must:

1. Own a domain name
2. Purchase a [Professional Email](https://www.webcentral.au/email-hosting/), [Microsoft 365](https://www.webcentral.au/email-hosting/microsoft-365/), or [cPanel](https://www.webcentral.au/web-hosting/cpanel-hosting/) service
3. Create your [Professional Email](https://support.webcentral.com.au/s/article/How-to-create-an-OX-email-account), [Microsoft 365](https://support.webcentral.au/s/article/How-to-add-a-new-user-in-Microsoft-365-or-re-assign-a-license), or [cPanel](https://support.webcentral.au/s/article/How-to-create-a-professional-email-in-cPanel) email account

Now you can set up your email account on your device.

All email software and devices, such as Microsoft Outlook, Apple Mail and Mozilla Thunderbird, can connect to our email servers. **This article is for users who are familiar with how to use their email software** and simply want to know what settings they should be using to connect to our servers.
